The Soufriere Marine Management Association Inc was established through the support of dedicated government and non-governmental organizations and with generous assistance from the

French Mission in the Lesser Antilles
ENCORE project of the United States Agency for International Development.
Also with technical assistance from the
Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI).

The Soufriere Marine Management Association was incorporated in 2003 and a Board of Directors was constituted. The Board members are
